I’ve always had a soft spot for skate parks. I love the fact that they are usually a bit more affordable than most places in my area. It is also a great way to kick back for a few hours and learn from pros. Most of the parks I’ve found are small, but there are a few that are a bit larger and that are great for both adults and kids.
The rockville skatepark is located in central Rockville. It is open to the public and you can find it at 803 Main Street. I was lucky enough to get a tour last week and I can tell you that its a pretty cool place. There are ramps, a few hills to do tricks, and more than I can list. The best thing? Even though it is a skatepark, it is definitely not a place for skateboarding.
It is not a place for skateboarding or any other kind of skating. The ramps are meant for the beginner and intermediate to advanced levels of skateboarding. It’s not for kids, and it’s definitely not for people with broken knees or any other kind of injury. However, there are no limits to how good you can get at tricks because they have ramps.
Why stop there? Because it’s a place for kids. Kids are not allowed to skate or skateboard except for that one kid who is a teacher. The rules are that a kid might not walk or skate at all, he can skate at a very low speed for a couple of laps or walk when he’s not at the rink.
Rockville Skatepark is a place where kids can skate. And if that doesn’t make it seem like a good place to get kids out of class, there’s a nearby ice rink where you can skate and skateboard as well. The rink is a bit far from the skatepark, but if you’re a huge fan of the sport, you can go there and really spend the day riding around.
I have to laugh at the idea that skateboarding might have been the first thing that got me into skating. I remember when I was about 12-13 years old, and someone told me I was going to jump on a plane to go see my brother, and I freaked out. Now, I would have probably freaked out if my brother told me to jump off the top of a building, but in that moment, I just wanted to stay up there for the rest of the day.

The new version of Rockville Center seems to have quite the different personality. It’s a really hard place to skate on and really has a lot of potential, although not all of it is pure skate park atmosphere. I’ve seen it just a little different than the previous version but I can’t say youre impressed with the new version.
