I don’t know about you, but I love taqueria. When I was growing up, I always had a bottle of tequila in my pocket, and I’d wait for a taquero to be at the back door. I could always hear them laughing. I wanted to be the same way.
And so did I. From the time I was six, I’d go into the back of the taqueria to get the tequila and come back with a bottle of tequila in my pocket.
A taqueria is a taqueria. It may have been a family business, may have been a taqueria that had a tiki-style, tiki-bar feel. But, in Mexico, it was a taqueria. Its owner would invite people in to order, and you and your friends would go into the back and get the tequila. It was the best place to get your tequila.
Now, a taqueria is a place where people can get tequila in the comfort of their own home. It may not have the best, most interesting design of any place ever. But, it’s the best place to get tequila in the comfort of your own home.
taqueria hidalgo has a tiki-bar feel, but the taqueria itself is more like a restaurant. Its owner made it a family business to serve the people. You can order from it for free, or pay to get the tequila, and your friends can join you or go order it for you. It’s the most casual drinkable drink on the menu. Its also one of the most dangerous.
It’s also one of the most dangerous because the owner is on a mission to make the place as good and clean as possible. But that’s not the worst part. The worst part is he’s going to kill people. And not just anyone. He has a plan to kill everyone who has a tattoo on their neck, and he’s going to do it in a way that makes no sense.
The best part is that when you get there, you can take a nice glass of water and drink it. Then, you can order your friends to come join you and drink it, and then you can drink the water, and then you can go back into the bar and pay for your friends, who can drink it, and then you can drink the water, and then you can drink the water again, and then you can come back to the table and order another round.
Taqueria Hidalgo is the Mexican restaurant that was supposed to be the next Big Thing to happen in Austin after it opened last December. The restaurant’s name is derived from the phrase “Hidalgo, my love,” a nickname that a waitress gave to one of the owners of the restaurant. The name was supposed to be ironic, but the owners decided otherwise.
Can you tell? It’s a name that can be used to describe a place where Mexican food is served in a very traditional way.
